Havila Supply ASA plans to sell its North Sea "rescue and recovery" fleet businessThe sell-off plan outlined in the message released today by Havila Supply ASA (see under) illustrates the position of Groupe Bourbon's Offshore Division which aims to concentrate its resources, in terms of crews and vessels, on the high-growth deep-water offshore market. Thus the business involved in this transfer plan (North Sea rescue and recovery) is not within the scope of Groupe Bourbon's developments targets. "HSU: Havila Supply ASA has received offer for its standby fleet Havila AS, a company owned by Mr. Per Seavik, Chairman of the stocklisted company Havila Supply ASA and his family have presented an offer for the acquisition of the fleet of rescue and recovery vessels (including newbuilding contract) owned by Havila Supply ASA through its subsidiaries, a total of 11 vessels. Price offered is 550 mill. NOK, plus transfer of all commitments related to newbuilding contract of standby vessel under construction at Havyard Leirvik. The Board of directors have discussed the matter in their Board meeting May 6th 2003 and is positive regarding the offer made. The offer is valid until the end of June this year, and is subject to financing." Le Conseil dadministration a étudié la proposition lors de sa réunion du 6 mai 2003 et les administrateurs sont favorables à loffre faite.
