Groupe Bourbon commissions 5 new ships for deep-water offshore work in Angola and Nigeria

In December 2002 and January 2003, the Offshore Department of Groupe Bourbon took
delivery of :
• an anchor-handling tug for ESSO Angola
• three supply-vessels, two of which for TotalFinaElf in Nigeria and the third for
ESSO Angola
• a passenger-transport crewboat for the TotalFinaElf contract in Angola.

Taken together, these contracts represent an annual turnover of 21.5 million $US.
The commissioning of these new vessels reflects the expansion of the group's Offshore
Department in the high-growth sector of deep-water oil fields.
