Offshore Division - Subsea Services

• Technical Manager, based in Ravena, Italy
  

  Bourbon, international leader in Marine services for modern Offshore recruits:

  A Technical Manager dedicated to Subsea activity

  The position is based in Ravena, Nothern Italy within DNT OFFSHORE an innovative Italian subsidiary specialized in continental or deepwater offshore inspection. The position reports directly to the CEO of DNT OFFSHORE, serious managerial, technical background and experience are required.

  As Technical Manager you are responsible for:

  • the provision of technical support to all Company sectors and departments (mainly technical assistance for commercial department)
  • The compliance project personnel and equipment with client specifications.
  • The preparation, the revision process and the issue of technical documentation, reports and procedure.
  • The FMEA assessment for ROV systems, the ROV Preventive Maintenance Planning.
  • The research and development on new subsea tools, innovative applications and working methodologies required by the industry.
  • Cost controls of the Technical Department.

  You specify and coordinate the specific necessary training for technical personnel, provide the operative personnel with specific Subsea training based on tools and methods (in collaboration with DOP and QHSE), you plan and coordinate the pre-mission training of the personnel with UHD simulator.

  Education – technical skills:

  Previous professional experience:

  At least 5 years experiences of Technical Manager focused on subsea robots for IMR.

  Languages: Italian- English

  Frequent travels on fields are required

  Ability to work in a team oriented environment, self motivated and enthusiastic.

• IMR Contract Manager, position based in Luanda, Angola
  

  Bourbon, international leader in Marine services for modern Offshore recruits:

  A MPSV Contract Manager – position based in Angola (Luanda)

  Responsabilities:

  With regards to Clients:

  • Safety reporting to client
  • Contractual and technical follow up with Client.
  • Financial reporting (invoice to client, raise Variation order, follow up payment).
  • Follow up with SONASURF and Bourbon Subsea Service any ship deficiency, crewing, ship cost, reimbursable ship cost. Write, prepare and present remedial action plan to Client.
  • Report on daily basis to SONASURF contract manager.
  • Develop commercial awareness of any other potential other charter or work of interest to SONASURF / BSS, through charterer, or within charterer area.
  • Develop and maintain, purchasing and subcontract register, and specific procedure.
  • At tender stage, establish technical evaluation and recommend technical proposal, planning, contract review, establish planning, and budget, jointly with BSS.
  • Propose and developed complementary service to customer within SONASURF/BSS strategy.

  With regards to Bourbon Subsea or Any Third Party:

  • Manage contract interface with any Bourbon department partners and subsidiaries.
  • Manage ROV interface affiliated company or subcontractor of ROV mobilisation, performance, tooling or subcontractor, ship modification.
  • Manage project engineer and provide installation engineering procedure, if necessary with assistance from Bourbon or subcontractor.
  • Prepare and control as built documentation, planning.
  • Obtain and manage with charterer procedure and risk analysis for planned operation to assess risk and inform captain accordingly (if develop by charterer).
  • Recruit and organise site supervision team for procurement QA/QC control in cooperation with operation manager. Ensure personnel is adequately trained.
  • Develop and provide SONASURF and BSS with monthly project/vessel report, procedures to management, KPI and half year formal contract review.
  • Vessel site visit on regular basis to control SONASURF QHSE manual, vessel operation, understanding and implementation of risk associated with MPSV activities /procedure.

  Qualification - background :

  Experience in project management for turnkey or service of 2 to 5 years

  English speaker/writer

  Offshore medical certificate, HUET course

  I.T: network working, Word, Excel, MS project, autocad (basis)

Offshore Division - Marine Services

• Crewboats Fleet Manager, based in Nigeria
  

  Bourbon, international leader in Marine services for modern Offshore recruits:

  A fast crew boat Manager. English and French Speaking.

  The position is based in Nigeria in a Bourbon subsidiary specialized in hiring Aluminum High Speed Craft (25-35knts) from 18m to 32 m for the Offshore Industry. It is the leading company in Nigeria and it has been operating for 8 years.

  As fast crew boat Manager you will be responsible for:

  • the management of 20 shore team (5 expats) and 200 crew,
  • the follow up of e new building program with the shipyard,
  • the supervision of our shore maintenance base,

  You report directly to the General Manager of the company.

  Ideally you have shore base experience in West Africa as manager, experience of the offshore industry, knowledge of maritime industry and shipping operations.

  You are able to work under stress. Open mind, open to different cultures and good human relationship are requested for this position.

  Customer management experience and technical shipbuilding knowledge are required.

  Ability to work in e team oriented environment, self motivated and enthusiastic.

• IT Site leader, position for a French VIE in Nigeria
  

  Bourbon has to set up and to manage IT infrastructures in each international site and on each vessel of the Group.

  International site IT leader role

  Accordingly to the site/vessel IT needs and accordingly to Bourbon procedures and standards, the International Site IT Leader is responsible for:

  • Installing and maintaining the Microsoft Windows network and Active Directory.
  • Installing and maintaining the Microsoft Exchange server.
  • Installing and maintaining of client workstations (XP).
  • Installing and maintaining network devices.
  • Installing authorized local applications.
  • Installing and maintaining back-up devices (DLT drive installation and maintenance).
  • Managing the local IT security.
  • Installing and maintaining the networking and telephone wiring.
  • Installing and maintaining the UPS.
  • Installing and maintaining the PABX.
  • Installing and maintaining VoIP (IP phones, ….)
  • Supporting the installation of telecom links between the Bourbon network backbone and the site/vessel (satellite links, leased lines, VPN,…).
  • Managing local External Service Providers in order to accomplish all the previous activities.

  Technical skills

  Fluent in English

  Excellent skills on Microsoft technologies (MCSE Microsoft or similar) like:

  • Windows 2003,
  • Exchange 2003/2007
  • Windows XP
  • SMS/MOM

  Excellent skills on network and telecommunication technologies like LAN Switches, Routers, Satellite links (VSAT, Inmarsat), VoIP (Cisco certification or similar)

  Location

  Functionally attached to the corporate, the ISIT can be mobilized in any country/vessel where the Bourbon Group is present

  Hierarchical position

  The IISM reports functionally to the CIO.

  Duties and responsibilities:

  • Managing purchasing / logistic activities.
  • Assisting in transition of the purchasing function from a spot to contract buying mode.
