In line with its leading-edge spirit, BOURBON has developed an expanded line of services, based on vessels designed for highly technical operations and experienced crews trained in the extremely demanding businesses of deepwater offshore.
Implementing a dynamic policy of medium and long-term contracts, the Marine Services business is able to adapt its offer to the specific requirements of its clients.
The BOURBON Marine Services fleet includes:
- The fleet of Offshore Support Vessels:
- Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels (AHTS) for towing and anchoring drilling platforms;
Platform Supply Vessels (PSV) to supply offshore facilities with special materials and products;
- Terminal Tugs, which specialize in assisting FPSO at offshore terminals.
- The fleet of Crewboats:
- Fast Supply Intervention Vessels (FSIV);
- Surfers, specific fast crewboats for the transport of passengers to oil sites and the distribution of employees among platforms.
- Assistance and Salvage Tugs:
- Coastline protection, which is part of the Offshore Division business, is performed by Les Abeilles.
- Relying on the expertise of over 100 employees, Les Abeilles has been responsible for more than 20 years, on behalf of the French Navy, for the protection of the French coastline and conducts refloating and high-sea towing operations and the prevention of oil pollution. With 2 new tugs commissioned in 2005, the Abeille Bourbon and Abeille Liberté, the fleet has 5 vessels strategically positioned in the main French ports.
